Participation We are expecting 50-60 participants, and approximately 1/3 will be from Korea. The program is 9 am – 5:30 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15 & 16. For those who are interested, we can offer optional tours and activities on Monday October 14 and Thursday, October 17.
Program & Presentations The format will be similar to prior forums. On the first day, participants will be giving oral presentations (15 minutes), and the young scientists are participating in a poster session on the second day. There will be an optional dinner on Monday night (Columbus Day).
Meeting Location The meeting is in Northeastern's Raytheon Amphitheater, which is on the ground floor of the Egan Research Center at 160 Forsyth Street. The Egan Center is one mile (1.6 km) from the conference Hotel: The Inn at Longwood Medical. (walk right on Longwood, left onto Huntington Ave, right onto Forsyth Street).
Travel You will be flying into Boston's Logan Airport (BOS). Accommodations are at the Inn at Longwood Medical, 342 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA. The distance from the Airport to the Hotel is 7 miles (11 km), and by taxi, this would take 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Public transit would take about 45 minutes (Shuttle bus to MBTA Airport Station, Blueline train to Government Center, switch to Greenline E train to Longwood Medical).
