The McGowan Institute Seminar Series
The McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine Seminar Series schedule
is located here
and includes the McGowan Institute Distinguished Lectureship. Topics will
be covered in 2009 in the categories of tissue engineering, regenerative
medicine, bioimaging, biomechanics, bioengineering, and surgery. The series
is presented by the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Department
of Bioengineering, the Musculoskeletal Research Center, and the Department
of Orthopaedic Surgery.
The Department of Biological Sciences Seminar Series
During the academic year, the Department of Biological Sciences hosts a variety of seminars that explore current and emerging frontiers in scientific research. Seminars are held in the Conference Room of the Mellon Institute at 3:30 on Wednesdays unless otherwise indicated. The 2009 fall term seminar schedule is available here.
The CMU Physics Colloquium
Believe it or not, quite a few of the talks in the CMU Physics Colloquium
cover topics of interest to biomedical- and bio- engineers. The schedule

Unless otherwise noted, colloquia are held at 4:30 pm in 7500 Wean Hall
at CMU or at 102 Thaw Hall at Pitt. Cookies and coffee are available at 4:15 pm.
