| The
Carnegie Mellon University International Film Festival was established
in 2004 by the Modern Languages Department and the Modern Languages
Student Advisory Council (MLSAC). This annual event involves Modern
Language minors and majors to organize the theme and film choices. All
films are free and open to the Carnegie Mellon Community as well as the
Pittsburgh community. This
year's International Film Festival theme 'Laughing Across Borders' unites
races of different languages and cultures into one laughing harmony.
