Current Area of Research: Flow visualization techniques for optimizing device performance.
Profile:
His research interests include experimental and theoretical fluid mechanics, bio-fluid mechanics, flow visualization and optical metrology. His research focused on flow physics in passively controlled water jets during the past five years. Since 2006, he joined CARDIOMD lab and focused on flow visualization research in blood wetted medical devices. He investigated flow field using various visualization technologies including particle tracking, dye washout, dye wash off and particle image velocimetry (PIV).
