2nd Annual Amnesty International Soccer Tournament

Saturday, November 20th, 2004

What is it?

An all-day indoor soccer tournament to raise awareness about the human rights situation in the Darfur region of Sudan. Proceeds from this year's tournament will go to Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières).

There will be a minors bracket and an intermediate/majors bracket. A team needs a minimum of 5 players and there is no maximum. However, you will only be able to field 5 players at a time. The cost is $5 per player and all money raised goes to Doctors without Borders. For your $5, you'll get food, a t-shirt, and, of course, a chance to play. The winning team in each bracket will receive a trophy for their accomplishment.

Where and when?

The tournament will be held in Skibo Gymnasium on Saturday, November 20th. It will begin at noon on Saturday and will last as long as necessary to complete all of the games.
