    The Allegheny Front to act as Team Media Sponsor

    The 2007 Carnegie Mellon Solar Decathlon Team will host a media sponsor, The Allegheny Front. The Allegheny Front is the region's only public affairs radio program dedicated to environmental news and information in Western Pennsylvania. The Allegheny Front can be herd on stations:

    WYEP 91.3 FM in Pittsburgh on Wednesday at 7:00 pm and Saturday at 6:30 am
    WPSU in State College and its 7 affiliates throughout WPA at 7:00 am and 9:30 pm Sunday
    WIUP 90.1 FM in Indiana on Monday at 7:30 am
    WRFA 107.9 FM in Jamestown, NY on Friday at 10:00 am

    Steve Lee on TV: May 30, 2007


    Steve Lee (Team Faculty Advisor) will be a guest on PCNC's NightTalk this evening, with host Mike Pintek, on Channel 35 on Comcast cable (or check your local listings). He will be talking about the building industry and it's impact on the environment, how people can implement their own green practices and the Solar Decathlon event.

    Summer Construction Begins: May 14, 2007


    The student work crew began construction of the house at the team construction site at Construction Junction in Point Breeze in Pittsburgh. The team cleared debris from the site and secured the area with a newly installed fence. Material shipments begin next week.
