Brian Sylcott, Ph.D. Candidate

is a Ph.D. student in the mechanical engineering department at
Carnegie Mellon University. Brian received his B.S. in mechanical
engineering along with a minor in engineering design from Carnegie Mellon in 2006 and spent two years working in the energy industry. Brian returned to Carnegie Mellon to pursue his passion for engineering design and is researching the application of shape grammars in the automation of engineering design processes.
