| Description: | Members of the ASO assisted the office of student affairs in hosting students from the CMU Qatar campus. This mainly involved hosting dinners and other recreational events for the students. |

| Description: | The ASO hosted its first social event to introduce the campus of CMU to the organization's new members. The event includes free arabic food and good arabic music. |

| Description: | The ASO, along with other cultural organizations, assisted the Multicultural Presidents Council (MPC) in creating an awareness of the different diversity groups on campus. Free Arabic food and music was also provided at the event. |

| Description: | In cooperation with Mayur-SASA and SALSA, the ASO will host an orientation party to welcome all freshman and incoming students. The party will take place from 10pm-2am, with buses departing every half an hour from the UC turnaround. Tickets will cost $7 for pre-sale and $10 at the door. You need to be at least 18 to party, 21 to drink. |
