The rise of ARCC extends from the need to have an organization that can bring people of Chinese origin together and that promotes awareness of the Chinese culture. ARCC, stands for Awareness of Roots in Chinese Culture, desires for the community to understand why certain holidays are celebrated and why certain food are eaten during a particular time of year. The original founders were students that originally from Taiwan, Mainland China, and Hong Kong, as well as American-Born enthusiasts. In addition to serving as a club that sets up Chinese cultural events for the entire campus, ARCC hopes to serve as a link between all existing organizations.

Bert Kuo (4th prez)
