Pakistan Urban Link and Support

PULS is a community action network that lets you talk to people in the field, ask them questions, get instant updates, and mobilize action around specific locations – all through SMS. Pakistan Urban Link and Support (PULS) is a map-based network of people where each individual (client or volunteer) has a profile and a place on a map. The aim is to create an ecosystem where clients, people who need help of any sort, are helped or served by volunteers, people who wish to provide help or support. By creating this ecosystem, PULS provides a platform where clients and volunteers can come together to solve issues in their respective areas. PULS connects people from disparate backgrounds by combining technological advancement with on-ground linkages and training. Volunteers interact with the service using the internet and their mobile phones (over SMS). Clients interact with the service using their mobile phones (over SMS). Their is no usage free and only standard messaging rates apply.
