Notes:

The Plumbing Section’s Operations primarily consist of four components: General administration of operations, the training and licensing of all plumbers in the County, the review of plans filed by plumbers upon conducting plumbing work of any size, and inspections. Inspections are both proactive and reactive in nature. Typically they are reactive in that the inspectors respond to requests by plumbers once the plumbing work has been completed. However, because homeowners are often uninformed and because plumbers are often interested in cutting corners, the County inspectors will often “patrol” their communities for non-reported plumbing work.

Because inspections make up the bulk of their workload and directly affects consumers, this is the operation we will focus on.
