FLOW-CHARTING
What are the relationships between the parts and how are they accessed?
DELINEATE THE RELATIONSHIPS

Establish the relationships between and within the categories and subcategories you developed when you organized your brainstorming content. Start from the top, a general introduction, and introduce a branching structure based upon the categories of information, and within those categories breakdown the information further until you have reached the base units.

Note: items within this branching structure represent modules of information, and may not be necessarily separate web pages.

Typically, flowcharts are created by connecting units of information (represented by rectangles below) with arrows. Remember that the arrows, in addition to specifying the relatedness of particular components, also delineate access, or movement from one component to another. In this way, the flowchart provides you with a map of all of the possible means of navigating your site, and the foundation for the navigation system that you develop.
