from Prentice Hall. Available at the CMU Bookstore.

ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION

Assignments must be submitted electronically by midnight EDT on the due date. Assignments will be collected automatically on the due date/time.

LATE POLICY

The grace period is 24 hours after the date/time specified unless permission is obtained from the instructor. Assignments submitted after the grace period will be subject to a 25% penalty. Solutions will be posted each Wednesday. No assignments will be accepted after the solution is posted.

COURSE GRADE

Five Programming Assignments worth 60% of the course grade
Final Exam (in-class, on paper) worth 40% of the course grade
*** You must pass the final Exam to pass the course. ***

PROGRAMMING ENVIRONMENT

We will use the MicroSoft Visual C++ 5.0 as our primary programming environment. . You may also use any other compiler you choose/own. For example codewarrior or g++
