There are two parts to the project: presentation and report. Report is due at the same time as the presentation. Length of the report: Please keep the length of the report between 5-10pages (12point font and single-spaced). The reports are due on the day of your presentation. Both report and presentation should follow the format given below: A) Goal What was the main purpose of the tool/paper? What was the class of systems considered? What kind of analysis did the tool/paper advocate? B) Technique overview What were the main techniques used in the paper/tool to perform the analysis? Provide small examples/scenarios here to illustrate your point. C) Advantages/disdvantages What were the main advantages/disadvantages of this analysis technique? If you could indicate this with small concrete examples, that would be great. This might not be possible in all cases. D) Conclusions If you had more time, what more would you have explored? Presentation guidelines: Each member of the time should be involved in the presentation, but I am not going to insist that each member speak for exactly the same amount of time. As long as everybody is involved, I will be happy. Each presentation will be 30mins long, so plan on presenting for 25mins, and then 5mins for questions. Note: Please try to have 3 members in your team. As I have pointed out several times, having many teams, will complicate the presentation schedule.
