Hemoglobin (oxy) Structure
Hemoglobin (1hho.pdb) is the tetrameric oxygen-carrier protein found in red blood cells. This model shows hemoglobin complexed with O2 at the Fe2+ centers of the hemes.

The starting Display is Cartoons; the Color is Chain.
The heme group is Spacefill; colored CPK.
The amino and carboxyl termini of the a1 and b1 subunits are labeled.
