Ligand Binding
- The Scatchard equation is:
n/L = n/Kd - n/Kd
, where
- n = [L]bound/[M]total;
- L = [L]free;
- n = # ligands/macromolecule, i.e.the stoichiometry;
- Kd = the dissociation constant.
