I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. I hold a Ph.D. in Organization Science from Carnegie Mellon University, a M.E. in Systems Engineering and a B.E. in Electronic Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University in China.

My research aims to understand ways through which individuals collaborate to share information, integrate knowledge, and participate in communities of practice. Specific areas of interest include teams and groups, knowledge management, distributed collaboration, online communities, and computational modeling of social and organizational systems. My work has been published or is forthcoming in Management Science, Organization Science, Organization Studies, and the Proceedings of AOM, ICIS, and HICSS.
