All are welcome to join us for our activities. The following is a list of weekly activities during academic terms. Special events are announced by e-mail or through the Newman Center bulletin.
WEEKLY CATHOLIC BIBLE STUDIES (by FOCUS)

SUNDAYS
**Go to Mass as a group for 10:00am Mass. Meet 30 minutes before Mass in the Kirr Commons (black chairs and TV lounge) of the University Center and walk together. Contact Charlie, cfw@andrew.cmu.edu
**Catholic Underground - free pizza dinner and spiritual discussion. 7:00pm in the basement of St. Paul Cathedral. This occurs immediately after 6:00pm Mass ends.
MONDAYS
**Pasta Dinner (*at CMU*) Fellowship and a simple dinner, 7:00pm in Doherty 1209.
**Weekly Graduate Bible Study group. 7:30pm in the basement of the Newman Center. In observance of Pope Benedict's declaration of this year as the "Year of Saint Paul, "we will be devoting the graduate and young professional group to the study of Saint Paul's letters. We will look at the historical background and the content of the letters, as well as their relevance for our own time. Contact Father Mike at frmichael@pittsburghoratory.org with any questions.
TUESDAYS
**Rosary Group (*at CMU*). At 9:30pm in the UC Chapel (near the bookstore on the first floor), we pray together a Scriptural Rosary, or some other Catholic prayers, such as Litanies, Chaplets, Night Prayer, Compline, etc.
**RCIA (classes for those interested in joining the Catholic Church or in refreshing their memory on fundamental Church teachings), 7:30pm in the basement of the Newman Center. Contact Nancy at nkelly3899@msn.com or call St. Paul’s Religious Education office at (412)621-9444.
WEDNESDAYS
**Bagels and Bible. Meets Wednesday mornings at 9:00am at the Newman Center, and is open to everyone for bagels and discussion of the upcoming Sunday Mass readings.
THURSDAYS
** Weekly Study Group on Classics of Western Spirituality. 7:30PM in the basement of the Newman Center. It is for all of those interested in developing a deeper understanding of the spiritual life and prayer through considering the writings of the great spiritual masters of the Catholic tradition. This year, we will be looking at Spiritual Combat by Dom Lorenzo Scupoli. Contact Fr. David at frdavid@pittsburghoratory.org
FRIDAYS
**Free Spaghetti Dinner. 6:00PM in the basement of the Newman Center. Feel free to join us for 5:15 Mass in the Newman Center chapel before the dinner. Larger “Friday Feasts” are held monthly on the first Friday of every month during the academic terms.
SATURDAYS
**Men’s Scriptural meditation, prayer, and get-together (Confession also usually available). 4:30-6:00pm at Warwick House, the Mens Opus Dei House of Pittsburgh. Call 412.683.8448 for details or for information on other activities of Warwick House.
